Sorry guys for not keeping you updated about my jurney to Japan. The last few days have been very busy and also tiring for both me and Dejan.
Well anyways...
Because me and Dejan are otaku, we spend most of our time here in Tokyo looking for anime/manga goods. We were planning on saving our money for the last few days, but sometimes you just can't resist.
We spent the last 4 days shopping in many popular places with anime merchandise. We also visited the famous comic market called Comiket!
Comiket
Comiket is is the world's largest self-published comic fair in the world that is held twice a year in Tokyo, Japan. For me the comic market was more of a battle field than a fair. There were so many otaku searching for their favourite marchendise. Most of the items sold there are considered very rare and can sometimes be found on the intertnet for more than 10 times more expensive.
The fair is divided into three sections: original book, merchendise and cosplay.
We first went to the merchandise section and Dejan bought some tapestry for his room, but he was not the only one to spend his money on otaku goods. The first day of Comiket was yaoi day, so I managed to get some myself. ≧(´▽`)≦
When we bought everything we needed we slowly fought our way to the cosplay section. There were so many amazing cosplayers and we were also able to take some nice shots.
Because the fair was very crowded, Dejan did not feel comfortable and decided to not join me and my friend Takahito on the last two days of the market and decided to go to Nakano instead.
Nakano is a part of Tokyo that is very famous for its shopping mall. There you can find many interesting, mostly second hand stores that sell everything from clothes, electronics to anime figures and manga.
Dejan probably had a really good time there, as he bought enough figures to fill our whole room. He also bought me some and made me very very happy. (Now I have a new PreCure figure for my colection)
Well, when he told me how cheap some figures can be, we decided to go there again the next day with Takahito. And it was not a bad decision too, since I was able to buy some figures for myself.
I was trying to be cheap, but on the shelves something got my attention. A very big black box. Oh may... it was Remilia Scarlet. It was a never before opened figure in a second hand store sold for a very cheap price, so I took it without hesitation. It was a must buy! I regret nothing! ( ̄ヘ ̄)
Here are some pictures of the items we bought in Nakano, enjoy!
Day 1: Dejans bounty
Day 2: Look at Remilia, my new waifu <3
Akihabara
I know I alredy mentioned this part of Tokyo, but these last days we took our time and actually went to do some serious shopping. To be honest... Dejan was the one spending all his money. We found so many awsome stores and were able to buy notepads, pencils, posters, figures, card holders, key chans, food, comics, manga and much more.
For us otaku these were truly places to be, but there is only one problem... How are we going to ship all this back to Slovenia? ( ゚ ▽ ゚ ;)
We will see....
