Hello Japan!: Meeting new and old friends

I have already spent some days in Tokyo and I must say, I am loving every second of it. Me and Dejan have seen so many interesting things, we were a part of not only their modern but also old culture.

But well, our trip is not only about seeing Tokyo, but also to meet new and also old friends.

One of them is Takahito. He is my penfriend from Osaka that came to Tokyo for the comic market also known as Comiket. We were finally able to meet each other in real life. We have been talking on Skype for quite some time now.

We saw each other for the first time on the 9th August, one day before the big convention. We decided to meet in Akihabara, because for an otaku that is the best place to be. He took me and Dejan to eat ramen and it was my first time trying it. I must say it is very delicious!

Together we went to Comiket and after that we would always go back to Akihabara to eat lunch and have a good time.

These have been one of the nicest days in my life, even if he only speaks a little English and I only speak basic Japanese we managed to have a conversation all the time. If it became too hard to understand, we helped each other with google translate (on his phone). ^____^

But sadly he is going home one day sooner than planed, so tomorrow will probably be our last day together.

But he is not the only person I met in Tokyo. I have made a lot of new friends, not only from Japan but also from Thailand, France, Germany and America.
